Ron H. Oberndorfer
Attorney at Law

Born and raised in Southern California, Ron has been a resident of East San Diego County since 1979. Ron graduated with distinction from the University of Redlands having earned two majors, Business Administration and Economics with an emphasis in Accounting. He was a member of several academic societies including the honor society, Omicron Delta Kappa. While attending California Western School of Law, the California Western International Law Journal published an article authored by Ron. Ron graduated with a Juris Doctorate degree in 1978. The same year he was admitted to the State Bar of California, became a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, and joined the Business, Real Estate, Estate Planning and Litigation Sections. Ron now practices solely in the business and estate areas of law and no longer litigates. Ron’s goal is to provide quality and expeditious legal assistance.
Ron places great emphasis on his commitment to his wife, Lisa, his three married children, and his community. He is an active leader in San Diego and has served on the Boards of Directors of many institutions and organizations. Ron has served on the Board of Directors and as Chairman of the San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce, having served for several years on the Board of Directors of the La Mesa Chamber of Commerce. Ron was instrumental in preparing the legal documents to merge the La Mesa and El Cajon Chambers to form the East County Regional Chamber of Commerce, now called the San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce. Ron has also served on the Board of Directors and is past Chairman of The Wellness Community of San Diego, a charitable organization which provided free counseling and support services to cancer patients and their families. He served several years on the Boards of Directors of the San Diego Jewish Academy, and served as the president of the Foothills Bar Association, and the East San Diego County Lawyer Referral Service. For seven years, he served on the Foundation for Grossmont and Cuyamaca Colleges Board of Directors, serving as Chairman for three years. While a Foundation board member, Ron served as its representative to Propositions R and V Citizen’s Bond Oversight Committees, chairing each committee.
Ron also served on the Board of Directors Grossmont Hospital Corporation for a full nine year term. Now, after an eight year hiatus, Ron has rejoined the Sharp Grossmont Hospital corporate Board of Directors.
